“College life is exciting! This is the time you will experience the word
“freedom.” You have to resist the temptations because college life
requires a lot of focus. And after four years of hard work, you’ll wear
the black toga with pride.
It's more fun in Holy Cross !

THE HOLY CROSS OF DAVAO COLLEGE
About
Holy Cross of Davao College
The Holy Cross of Davao College (HCDC) is a private and research Catholic college institution founded by the Religious of the Virgin Mary Sisters in 1951 and maintained by the Foreign Mission Society of Quebec (PME Fathers) in 1956. A turn over of administration took place in 1978 which cut off the school's umbilical cord from its founders and passed it on the apostolate of education to the Archdiocese of Davao. It is located in Southern Mindanao, Philippines.
It is divided into six units including the College of Arts and Sciences, the College of Education, the College of Engineering and Technology, the College of Maritime Education, the College of Criminology and the College of Business and Accountancy. It also runs grade school and high school units.
HCDC has three campuses, the Main Campus at Sta. Ana Avenue (which houses the Undergraduate, Graduate and Technical and Vocational Courses) and the JP. Laurel Avenue Campus (elementary and high school) - all located in the center of Silicon Gulf, Davao City. The other one is located at Camudmud, Babak Island, Samal, which caters undergraduate programs only. HCDC also engages itself and the students into Community Extension Services.
THE CROSS: Source of Stewardship and Gratitude
that every individual holy crossian or not, should be thankful, should have the attitude of being grateful to the blessings we receive each day. For it is by being grateful that we acknowledge Jesus in our hearts. That we are ready to unselfishly shine His love to others, to people we encounter each day. And that we as individual is ready to be of service to His people. This Cross would serve as a reminder for all of us or the core of our being that in every thing that we do we should always do our best with Love and unselfishness. That each day we should always strive to make things better. We should always do the Best that we can with honesty, faithfulness, justice, peace and Love.
